Shuttle Route Optimization

Problem

The company's shuttle routes had not been reviewed for several years. There was no data on actual per-route load — which lines were over capacity and which were underutilized. Fleet orders were based on static assumptions, leading to unnecessary transport costs.

Solution

Built a single-page dashboard (no server, no build step) that visualizes KML routes on an interactive Leaflet map, geocodes employee addresses from CSV (auto-detecting columns in English, Russian, and Hebrew via Nominatim), assigns each employee to their profile stop (falling back to nearest within 2 km), and breaks down headcount by route and shift window. Failed geocodes can be corrected manually via a coordinate picker.

Impact

Routes are now data-driven. The tool is used to verify route relevance, adjust orders based on actual line load, and right-size vehicles — reducing unnecessary fleet costs. Route updates reflect where employees actually live.

Logistics Reporting Automation

Problem

Weekly processing of transportation data required 6+ hours of manual work: cross-referencing timecard exports, building per-city shift schedules, generating transporter orders, and reconciling monthly invoices against actual headcount.

Solution

A suite of VBA macros and Excel smart templates that automate the full pipeline from a raw timecard export: a management compliance report (headcount by department), per-city shift schedules, a transporter order email skeleton, and an invoice reconciliation summary — all from the same data without rework. Hebrew-to-English name mapping, shift window detection, and layout optimization are handled automatically.

Impact

Processing time dropped from 6 hours to under 20 minutes per week. Manual data entry errors eliminated. The same dataset now feeds five downstream reports without duplication.

Biohacksly — Goal-Driven Progress Tracker

Problem

Habit trackers focus on streaks, not outcomes. A habit is just a step toward a larger goal — better fitness, health, productivity, or any meaningful change. Existing tools don't connect daily actions to progress on the actual target.

Solution

An app structured around goals, not habits. The user defines a goal, builds a plan, sets supporting habits, and tracks progress over time with analysis of what helps and what doesn't. Google Sheets served as the mobile-friendly interface — checklists and notes from the phone, one-click send to server. Apps Script code was written flexibly enough to accept varying data types, so sheets could be adjusted on the fly. The backend handled logic, database, and AI API integration. Full-stack version (React, Node.js, MongoDB) in development.

Impact

MVP validated the concept — users tracked progress toward real goals and saw how their data evolved. The Google Sheets frontend enabled rapid iteration while the backend provided the actual logic and AI analysis.

Telegram Bot for Breathing & State Management

Context

Telegram is an interesting platform for lightweight tools — no install, works cross-platform, supports rich UI, and can connect to a database securely. This project was an opportunity to explore those capabilities.

Solution

A Telegram bot with multiple breathing mechanics (calming, energizing, creative flow, deep relaxation) accessible directly in chat. MongoDB backend for session data. Built with Node.js and Telegram Bot API.

Outcome

A working bot that helps users shift their state in 2–3 minutes. The project demonstrated how Telegram can serve as a secure, always-available platform for practical tools.
